Key Principles
The values that govern every decision within AMSIO International.
Independence
AMSIO International operates free from government control and commercial influence. No single country, institution, or sponsor holds veto power over governance decisions.
Transparency
Council decisions, approved regulations, and annual financial summaries are published and accessible to all National Partners and registered participants.
Academic Integrity
Examination development, security protocols, and marking procedures follow internationally recognised standards. All intellectual property remains with AMSIO International.
Global Representation
Every member country holds one vote in the Council. No country receives weighted influence based on participant numbers, fees paid, or geographic size.
Integrity Commitments
Specific, verifiable commitments that back our principles with action.
Examination Development
Questions are developed by independent subject specialists appointed by the relevant Subject Committee. Item writers operate under confidentiality agreements and conflict-of-interest declarations.
Sealed Distribution
Examination papers are encrypted and released to National Partners under strict timing protocols. Access is granted only to authorised examination supervisors immediately before the session.
Appeals Process
A multi-stage appeals process allows participants, through their National Partner, to challenge results or procedural irregularities. Appeals are reviewed by an independent panel.
Financial Transparency
An annual financial summary, reviewed by an independent auditor, is shared with all National Partner representatives. Revenue allocation decisions require Council approval.
